Time for HR to build a "table of experts"

Workplaces have turned to HR more than ever during the pandemic, but it's time for this function to accept it doesn't have all the answers, and instead collaborate more effectively with other divisions.

HR leaders can be "released" from the responsibility they feel for being the expert for all workforce and workplace matters by forming a "table of experts", says Oracle's VP product strategy, talent, Chris Havrilla.

"We're in a world now where we have to find the answers, but there's not a five-step process or best practice manual. It really is about facilitating those solutions."

And solutions don't come about "on an island"; HR can partner with other functions to bring about results, she tells HR Daily...
