Nonsensical allegations aimed to "pollute" general protections claim with scandal

An employee's claims that she was "intimidated", "mobbed" and "coerced" at work were "unfounded and nonsensical" allegations designed to "pollute" her general protections claim with scandal, the Fair Work Commission has chided.

The casual food, beverage and gaming attendant started working for the NSW Masonic Club on 2 June this year, completing six shifts before her employment ended on 15 June.

She made a general protections application claiming the employer called her into a meeting and "resigned [her]" because she complained too much...
