Ikea's new enterprise agreement "walks the talk on inclusion", and allows access to benefits such as paid parental leave "from day one", a leader in its people and culture team says.
In theory, the entitlement means an employee who gives birth just after joining could spend their first 26 weeks on paid leave.
"If we're about recruiting the right people into Ikea, and if we had someone who was joining us and commenced parental leave shortly after, then so be it. We would welcome that," co-worker experience manager Greg Day tells HR Daily...
