"Glaring" procedural flaws didn't undermine dismissal for "disrespectful" slur

It was reasonable to summarily dismiss an employee who responded to performance concerns by calling managers "c-nts" in a staff Facebook group chat, the Fair Work Commission has found.

Deputy President Richard Clancy said the seriousness of the casual bartender's behaviour outweighed any procedural deficiencies he found in the employer's dismissal process.
