Employers granted exemptions for gender-based discrimination

Legal exemptions are allowing employers in gender-imbalanced industries to breach discrimination laws so they can build up their female talent pipelines.

Labour hire company Protech Personnel has won a legal exemption allowing it to discriminate for the purpose of hiring more women into the construction industry.
