Employee feedback inspires internal mobility 'showcase'

An always-on feedback channel is driving some key initiatives at an employer of choice, where workers feel confident that what they say will "make a difference", its HR leader says.

Company-wide showcases, held quarterly, are just one example of employee feedback in action at Hipages, chief people and culture officer Jodette Cleary tells HR Daily.

The idea for the showcases, which give staff a "transparent and open opportunity" to see what other teams are like, originated with the employer's employee feedback action group, HiTag.

Every department is on display during the showcase, and employees can come up and ask, "what does people and culture actually do?" or, "what is the finance team doing?" or, "what are you guys working on?"...
