Workplace influencers an untapped resource

Workplace influencers aren't a new phenomenon, but employers are only just starting to harness their potential and the "underground" feedback they bring to workplaces.

"In the past, we might have thought of them as being political, or troublemakers, or too vocal, but I'm not sure that that really is the case," says Est10 founder and managing director Roxanne Calder.

"They've always been apparent, they've always been there, it's just that now, we're like, 'oh actually, maybe this is a good thing' because the world is all now about – as it should be – transparency and authenticity, and these are just people who are speaking their views."
