The Workplace Gender Equality Agency has announced its 2022 list of Australia's employers of choice for gender equality.

Up from 119 last year, the 120 Australian employers now recognised as driving progress to make their workplaces equal include 12 new companies awarded the certification this year.

(Some 91 are re-certified to continue their status for another two years, while 17 are midway through their two-year citation.)

All companies with more than 100 employees are required to report annually to WGEA on their gender-equality metrics, but the citation holders go through an extra evaluation process, involving criteria under seven focus areas...
