Mandatory pay-gap reports mean nothing to most employers

The fact that only half of employers that identify a pay gap actually take steps to address it speaks volumes about their lack of commitment to change, a conference has heard.

While it's compulsory for large organisations to annually review their gender pay gap, the same can't be said for implementing strategies that mitigate disparities, notes Future Women deputy managing director Jamila Rizvi.
