Leading EX indicators are in "stagnation or decline"

Australian businesses are in "a really risky situation at the moment", with new research showing the leading indicators of employee experience are stagnating or declining.

Qualtrics' 2024 Employee Experience Trends report, being released today, draws on survey data from more than 2,000 Australian employees. It shows the key drivers of a positive employee experience have fallen in the past 12 months, says Qualtrics senior manager, XM scientist Crissa Sumner.

The five indicators – engagement; experience versus expectations; intent to stay; inclusion; and wellbeing – are, in Australia, below the global average. In the case of inclusion the difference is only 1%; in the case of engagement, and experience versus expectations, the difference is 2%; but with wellbeing it is 5%; and with intent to stay it is 11% lower...
