Data-driven HR: using insight to engineer "specific" outcomes

Most HR leaders now use data to report on key workplace metrics, but many are yet to move from lag indicators to insights that can drive "a very specific outcome", according to a computer science expert and CPO.

Pushing data analytics, science and insight boundaries "to the max" – to have broader and deeper insight – is what Justin Angsuwat is most looking forward to in his new role as chief people officer of employee experience platform Culture Amp, he tells HR Daily.

"I think in this era we have the data and the technological capability to democratise people analytics," he says. This means using the "next generation of HR data" to uncover predictive and actionable insights that help HR leaders and managers "take pretty precise and targeted action"...
