It's better for HR professionals to be the "fun police" at work functions than have to mop up after employees' misbehaviour, a lawyer says.
Most employers are probably "sick" of hearing about how to manage work-related social events, HR Law practice group leader Kristin Ramsey tells an HR Daily Premium webcast.
Yet the only way to stop this topic from arising every year is to make "drastic changes" to the way in which organisations host them, she says.
