Bad bosses getting blacklisted; the rise of "HR as PR"

Employees are likely to amp up publicly sharing poor work experiences in 2022, however this sets the stage for "HR as PR" to shine.

Employers shouldn't underestimate "the power of social media to 'cancel' a person, brand or organisation", Gartner HR vice president Aaron McEwan tells HR Daily.

"The next generation of knowledge workers have shown they are more than comfortable using platforms like TikTok and Reddit to call out negative or harmful behaviour in the workplace.

"Employers shouldn't be surprised to see this trend of naming and shaming individuals and organisations reach mainstream platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn in the coming 12 months," he says...
