Korn Ferry research shows that organisations are facing leadership challenges – ranging from a lack of confidence in leaders' ability to deliver on strategic priorities, to a weak leadership pipeline of future leaders, and a lack of diverse leadership talent.
Our data also shows that organisations need to revisit their approach to high potential if they are looking for their current programs to find either long- or short-term answers to these issues:
- Only 14% of HR professionals feel very confident that the right people have been selected for their high potential program; and
- Only 11% feel that they've really got the return on their high potential program.
