"High gloss" graduate campaigns losing appeal

Graduate recruitment has been "significantly disrupted", and many of the traditional assumptions about what graduates bring to the table have shifted, according to a talent management specialist.

For example, due to the pandemic, graduates might not have the work experience or extracurricular activities that employers previously sought, says SHL talent practice director Samantha Hickey.

She encourages organisations to "really challenge" whether the criteria they looked for three years ago still holds relevant today...
